- Some of our Websites ask visitors and guests (customers of our retreat) to fill out registration forms. For example, users inquiring about a subscription or wanting to make a subscription or when paying a deposit from our booking site. Other information collected at websites through questionnaires, feedback forms, or other means, enables us to determine visitors’ interests, with the goal of providing better service to our subscribers.

e-Newsletter Privacy Statement
Vokashi, Inc. values your privacy! We NEVER SELL, RENT or LOAN out your name or private information to anyone, ever! We have a newsletter that is operated on an opt-in basis. We use a fully opt-in contact list (see the form below) we do not send any other bulk email. Every subscription form also has an unsubscribe link. We also provide 1-click unsubscribe technology for those mail clients and providers that support it. CLICK TO UNSUBSCRIBE. We only send individual emails from our staff to you as part of any support requests that you have initiated, or in case we have to contact you about a booking or subscription that you have made. Our service, subscription and booking process sends you information about purchases you have made and your upcoming reservation and service dates etc. You can report abuse to: abuse@vokashi.com or you can lodge a complaint directly with our network provider gPowerHost: Abuse Desk.
Food Waste and Recycling Waste Stream Metrics Collection
Vokashi, Inc. keeps detailed records on the amounts and types of food and recycling waste collected from each subscriber, member or customer. We do not share this detailed information with third parties! However, we do aggregate the data (removing subscriber names and contact details) and report totals by area, customer type and based on other general subscriber categories. Due to our need to report this aggregate total information to official agencies and partners we cannot allow subscribers to opt-out of this anonymous reporting. You agree to allow us to collect details about food waste pickups and report any of those details in an anonymous, aggregate way to any third party we deem necessary, by subscribing to any of our services. Google reCAPTCHA
WHEN A reCAPTCHA LOGO IS PRESENT, AT THE TIME OF LOGIN/CONTACT/PURCHASE FORM SUBMISSION ONLY (NOT USED WITHIN OTHER, GENERAL Online Community AREAS): We use ReCAPTCHA, who collects personal information from users to make the determination of whether they are human and not a bot to prevent SPAM. The reCAPTCHA algorithm checks to see if there is a Google cookie placed on the computer being used. An additional reCAPTCHA-specific cookie will then be added to the user’s browser allowing a complete snapshot of the user’s browser window at that moment in time.
Information gathered includes:
- All cookies placed by Google over the last 6 months
- How many mouse clicks you’ve made on that screen (or touches on a touch device)
- The CSS information for that page
- The date
- The language your browser is set to
- Any plugins you have installed on the browser
- All Javascript objects
